Architectural Review Committee

The ARC is a committee comprised of fellow Willow Springs Homeowners volunteering their time to help our community with the request and application process involved with obtaining ARC approval. The committee approves homeowner requests based on our community’s CCRs and Architectural Guidelines, which were developed to comply with state and local regulations, and protect our Home values and the aesthetics of our neighborhood.​

What are the steps?

  1. Fill out the Request for Architectural Change Review form here.

  2. You will receive an email from customercare@fcmjax.com to fill out all steps for your request.

  3. Carefully review the application to make sure all necessary information, documents and photos are uploaded before submitting.

  4. You will have a 30-day window to complete and submit your application.

    • *Extensions will be made when county permits are required.

  5. Await approval, or updates to get approval, by the Architectural Review Committee. An email will be sent via our management company with any correspondence.

Projects you DO NOT need approval for include:

  1. Mulch (red, brown, or black only) or rocks (white, grey, black, or pond river rock)
    and rubberized black or brown borders.

  2. Garbage can enclosures - L-shaped partition walls matching the
    color of your house or trim.

  3. Temporary garage roll-up screens.

  4. Portable basketball hoops - Must be pulled up to house when not in use.

  5. Painting your house the same color.

Projects you DO need approval for include, but are not limited to:

  1. Planting or removing flowerbeds (front of lot only), bushes or trees.

  2. Doors - screen doors, storm doors.

  3. Roofing, gutters, downspouts.

  4. Structures - Screened enclosures, sheds, gazebos, swimming pools *County permits required.*

  5. Recreational structures (fence required), and trampolines (must be anchored).

  6. Fencing *May need special permissions when lot is on easement.*
